Pinal County accepts $509,137 emergency preparedness contract from state

The Pinal County Public Health Services District Board of Directors on Sept. 16 approved acceptance of Contract No. CTR081712 with the Arizona Department of Health Services for $509,137 under the Public Health Emergency Preparedness Program and Cities Readiness Initiative. Staff identified a required 10% local match to come from Public Health Services District Fund 257 and said the award will fund actions to meet or exceed requirements of the CDC's Operational Readiness Review.
