Homeowners Association president Paty Grofield asked the board to exempt Woodland Ridge from the citys ordinance requiring residents to roll trash bins to the street, saying many residents are elderly and physically unable to move cans. Grofield said the HOA devised a placement plan and asked for permanent, attractively sited bins off the right-of-way. Board members said they would examine the request and respond.
