Kitsap County Hearing Examiner held two permit hearings Dec. 19, 2024: (1) a conditional use permit for a detached accessory dwelling unit (file 24-02426) in South Kitsap; (2) a multi-permit request including shoreline variance and substantial development permit for a Daybreak Development LLC multifamily project in Silverdale (files 23-01781, 23-01777, 22-04212). Examiner accepted exhibits, heard staff and public comments, and said decisions will be issued in the coming days; the shoreline height variance remains subject to Department of Ecology review.
