Chairwoman Meg Bamke called the Sept. 17, 2024 meeting to order at 5:00 p.m., welcomed new county administrator Bill Ashton, the clerk called the roll and a quorum was confirmed. Supervisor English led the invocation and Supervisor Vanooch led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Stafford County Board of Supervisors met Sept. 17, 2024. The board heard updates on transportation and capital projects, approved a major rezoning for the Stafford Technology Campus (data center) with proffers, adopted a comprehensive update to planning/building fees, agreed to pursue a larger multi‑department central services site, directed utilities to pursue a ban on outside septage and to return with separate rate proposals, denied support for a regional transportation authority, and extended the impact‑fee advisory committee deadline to Nov. 4.
