Springfield R-XII Board of Education held an October 8 study session to hear an annual update from the Foundation for Springfield Public Schools, discuss contracts and construction bids, consider boundary adjustments for several schools, review a proposed one-time early separation incentive for employees, and a recommended expansion of student transportation eligibility. Multiple items will return for formal vote at the Oct. 22 meeting.
