The Building Code Council(BRFW) committee met on 2025-09-12 to review IRC/IBC code-change proposals from the IRC technical advisory group, consider an off-site construction/modular building petition, discuss an emergency-rule request on side-yard firefighter access (proponent absent), and review two draft opinions (adult family home ramp landings and portable vs. permanent toilet facilities). The committee moved the IRC/IRC-tag package to the full council, voted to refer the side-yard access matter to a special council committee, and referred the ramp-landing opinion to the full council for further work.
