Troup County Board of Commissioners held a work session on Sept. 16, 2025 to review several administrative and policy items including an urgent IT replacement need, proposed changes to the inmate food-service contract, multiple grant applications (transit vehicle replacements and hazard-mitigation siren upgrades), acceptance of an EMT training grant, and proposed text amendments to the county UDO (including potential data center rules).
