LaSalle County Finance and Budget Committee met to review budget revenues and expenses, hear department requests and adjust levy recommendations. Committee discussed reserve levels, a $50,000 supplemental request from the 708 board, health department spend-down and a decision to lower its levy to $300,000, highway overtime and motor-fuel tax balances, nursing home staffing and projects, and forwarded a Section 125 resolution to the full board.
