At the October meeting of the Martin County Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), county staff and consultants Marlin Engineering and Dover, Kohl & Partners presented draft concepts for the Rio Civic Center master plan and a Dixie Highway streetscape plan. Consultants reviewed project timeline, community survey results, two Civic Center site alternatives and streetscape typical sections and traffic-calming options. The CRA also received its fourth-quarter (FY2025 Q4) capital projects and permitting report, with updates on El Camino construction, Golden Gate septic-to-sewer connections, New Monrovia Park bidding, and other neighborhood projects. The board approved minutes, heard public comment, and voted to combine the November/December CRA and Art in Public Places meetings into a single December 1 meeting (tentative).
