The EMS District 2 board met in a special virtual session on Oct. 30, 2025. After an executive session, the board voted to retain exclusivity in the franchise/contract with American Medical Response (AMR) following endorsements from local fire chiefs and system stakeholders. The board also approved AMRs proposed 2026 rates (a precautionary ~7% higher figure pending final negotiations) to meet an immediate filing deadline.
