The Municipal Audit Committee reviewed the FY2023 annual comprehensive financial report and BDO auditors presented an audit wrap-up: an unmodified opinion was issued, several material weaknesses and control inefficiencies were identified (closure of books, journal-entry controls, grant revenue recording), and administration described steps toward resolving issues and a target to complete the FY2024 audit by early 2026.
