The Norwalk Fair Rent Commission met on November 5 to review minutes, hear chair and director reports, consider four open rent complaints (continuing three, closing one), and discuss nominating-committee guidance from corporation counsel. The commission agreed to hold a long hearing on Dec. 10 and asked the nominating committee to reconvene after guidance that alternates cannot serve as chair without becoming regular members.
