The Columbia River Economic Development Council (CREDC) gave an informational briefing to the Clark County Council on Nov. 5, 2025. CREDC described its role as the state-designated associate development organization (ADO) for Clark County and the region, reviewed recent recruitment and expansion wins (including multi-year totals), outlined program funding and revenue sources, highlighted the Apex Accelerator program that helps local small and disadvantaged businesses win government contracts, and confirmed delivery of an updated employment/land study to the county with a formal rollout planned within weeks. Councilors asked for better, more proactive communication about the land study and about partnerships on workforce and comp-plan timing.
