Avon Grove School District education and operations committees met to review school improvement goals, technology updates including classroom AI tools and a student demo, long-range facilities and safety/security capital projects, and several policy revisions including a proposed public comment policy. Principals from Penn London, Abingrove Intermediate, Avon Grove Middle and Avon Grove High presented academic, growth and PBIS goals for 2024–25 and answered board questions. District IT staff described a new data warehouse (LinkIt), AI classroom tools (Magic School and Brisk Teaching), expanded student tech crews and a makerspace. Facilities staff outlined a multi-year capital plan and safety upgrades (Avigilon access/camera project, nightlock devices, window shades, exterior LED lighting, stadium fence repairs), and reviewed budgets. The operations committee also received tax-collection and Act 1 index updates and reviewed several policies; the public comment policy drew extended board discussion and will return for further review.
