Staff request to commit $500,000 to Gateway Business Incubator

Presentation

4:05 → 7:09(3m 4s)

An agency staff member (first speaking at SEG 001) asked the board to commit $500,000 from Talent Urban Renewal Agency funds toward a Gateway Business Incubator project and explained that up to $1,250,000 of a regional peer award (of roughly $4,700,000 total) could be moved to the incubator; staff said $500,000 was the 'upper limit' of remaining URA funds that could be committed. Staff clarified that further deliberation would occur before any expenditure.
