The Legislative Post Audit Committee met to receive multiple audit presentations and staff reports, question agency representatives, and approve audit plans and monitoring priorities. Presentations included county costs to meet state requirements, options for acquiring state office space, follow-up audits, and IT monitoring of KDHE's early childhood data project — which auditors flagged for schedule slippage, quality defects and security attention. The committee approved the triennial audit plan and a blended IT security audit approach and set monitoring priorities for 2026.
