The Nevada Senate met in a special session and passed a package of measures including creation of the Silver State General Assistance Program (SB3) to provide emergency assistance and a $60 million health-care grant program (SB5); smaller administrative bills and two assembly concurrent resolutions were also adopted. The session included debate over whether SB5 could fund entities that provide abortion-related services.
