Chair (speaker 1) called the meeting to order, led the Pledge of Allegiance and read the Wakefield Public Schools mission and vision statement to frame the meeting.
The Wakefield School Committee met Nov. 12, 2025. Board members heard a detailed special-education update (Rosie Galvin) covering program placements, a new STRIVE classroom at Woodville and a pilot program evaluation with SEAM Collaborative; leaders also reviewed the DCAP (District Curriculum Accommodation Plan), received a financial update (grants down ~$60,000; first Circuit Breaker payment just over $2,000,000), approved minutes and payroll warrants, advanced several policy items for a Dec. 9 vote, and handled routine business.
