Prospect City Council held a special meeting Aug. 13, 2025, where residents raised safety concerns and the council approved a resolution to appropriate capital-project funds to research a public–private partnership and pursue a master development plan; council gave first reading to an ordinance amending the FY2025–26 budget and will consider the ordinance again at the next regular meeting.
