Morganton City Council held its regular meeting on Dec. 1, 2025. Council swore in new members, approved committee assignments and routine consent items, awarded CDBG grants to local nonprofits, authorized the city to join Burke County’s first-responder medical program, adopted downtown parking ordinance and fee changes, accepted the annual audit, and approved several administrative fee and easement items.
