Oconee County Planning Commission held a Dec. 8 meeting to consider two rezoning requests: a 242.27-acre rezoning (Townley Family Partnership) from AG to R‑1 with staff conditions including a 10‑year delay and a 119‑lot cap; and a smaller rezoning to permit a neighborhood market with gas pumps and a 4,000 sq ft restaurant near Bishop Farms Parkway. Both items were recommended for approval and forwarded to the Board of Commissioners.
