At a meeting of the Athens City Affordable Housing Commission, staff and guest speakers discussed recent HUD funding guidance that could reduce permanent supportive housing, progress on local housing projects and a new rental inspection subcommittee (RIPS). The commission approved an internal officer slate, reviewed committee work and heard updates on neighborhood planning and temporary shelter rules.
