Walsh County Board of Commissioners met Dec. 16 to hear updates and take votes on routine items and several substantive proposals: a fundraising plan for a new fair building and related grant match, selection of a construction manager-at-risk for the county jail project, a new employee assistance program contract, bridge bids and repairs, and a lengthy discussion about creating a county administrator role followed by portfolio assignments.
