The Knox County Historic Zoning Commission met July 17, 2025, and took action on multiple certificate-of-appropriateness (COA) applications: it approved a Mechanicsville duplex with staff delegated authority to accept alternative siding if the neighborhood organization submits documentation; approved a Market Square rooftop addition; approved Fort Sanders and Edgewood Park City rehabilitation projects (with conditions); and postponed a 4th & Gill infill house for redesign with neighborhood input.
