The VCA (local zoning board) met in December to consider a special-use request for an electronic message sign at Castle North Middle School, two variances to allow replacement or temporary residence during home construction, and to table one mobile-home removal case until the owner can appear in January. The board approved the sign and a variance for Brian McDaniel and tabled the Amber Quick matter to the January 26, 2026 meeting.
