Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors met Nov. 18. The board adopted updated local fire and Wildland Urban Interface codes, received updates on Head Start and aging services, heard an extended presentation on the fiscal impacts of HR 1 (federal reconciliation/state budget changes) and took initial steps on a county Community Impact Fund while receiving dozens of public comments urging spending on food security and rental assistance.
