Lorain County Board of Commissioners opened the county's first meeting of 2026, completed routine organizational business (electing officers, adopting Robert's Rules), approved several consent items and contracts, heard public comment on economic development and an alleged conflict of interest, and discussed a $1.6 million Brentwood Lake culvert and roadway project funded in part by an Ohio Lake Erie Commission grant.
