Citrus County Planning & Development Commission heard conditional-use and PUD proposals on Jan. 15, 2026, including a denied request to allow 20 goats on a 2.3-acre parcel, a split recommendation on a proposed 38-unit townhome PUD, approval of a small church expansion, and approval of a 149-foot telecom monopole with access and lighting conditions. The board also reviewed proposed Land Development Code amendments addressing certified recovery residences, façade standards, and bonding for infrastructure.
