The Alaska Senate Labor and Commerce Committee met in Juneau on Jan. 30, 2026, heard and acted on three bills: reported House Bill 78 out of committee with individual recommendations, adopted a committee substitute as the working document for Senate Bill 121 (health‑insurance reimbursement and network adequacy) after extensive invited testimony, and received an introductory presentation on Senate Bill 163 (repeal of inactive funds) which was set aside for future consideration.
