El Dorado County Board of Supervisors met Feb. 3, 2026. Board approved consent items and several department reports, received presentations on an agricultural pest eradication program and county wildfire planning, approved a retirement incentive extension, gave conceptual approval to a sheriff's ordinance on unlawful fires, and heard a lengthy appeal over a proposed Arco/AMPM at the Ponderosa interchange; the board approved the project with a condition delaying ground disturbance until associated Caltrans CIP work begins or June 1, 2028, whichever occurs first.
