Speaker 1 reported Hooper City's annual tonnage at 4,698.52 tons and an estimated 4,700 tons next year, saying the differential in transfer costs would amount to about $7,000 total—roughly $2 per household—if the proposed change went forward.

Hooper City Council discussed options for garbage service after Weber County and private transfer-station operators proposed new arrangements, reviewed proposed parks and event grant projects including a $50,000 Tomato Days grant, and debated hiring or contracting code enforcement. Council asked staff to follow up with the county and bring more information to a future meeting.
