The Maine Joint Standing Committee on Health Coverage, Insurance and Financial Services held a public hearing and multiple work sessions covering MHDO enforcement rules for hospital price-transparency (LD 2167), adoption of Board of Nursing delegation rules for unlicensed assistive personnel (LD 2166), consumer auto-financing amendments (LD 2056), physician associate independent-practice changes (LD 2088), community paramedicine licensing (LD 2133, tabled), and regulation of shared-appreciation home equity products (LD 1901). Several items advanced to work sessions and votes; other bills were tabled for additional language work.
