St. Francois County Commission met to handle routine business including approving a consent agenda, contract awards and grant assurances; members also heard extended public comment about whether the county should voluntarily recognize the Fraternal Order of Police and about rumors that $1,000,000 would be cut from the sheriff’s budget.
