Hocking County zoning commissioners and a consultant reviewed a newly posted draft of a short‑term rental and site standards ordinance, discussed clarifications requested by stakeholders (definitions, inspections, landscaping, liability, platform acknowledgements, bridge/driveway variance rules and a ban on target shooting for STRs), and scheduled a Feb. 12 special meeting to vote on a recommendation to the county commissioners.
