The Committee on Government Efficiency heard more than a dozen opponents of Senate Bill 363, who warned the measure’s move from annual to quarterly eligibility redeterminations would increase administrative churn, lead to coverage losses for Medicaid and SNAP recipients, and raise state costs without improving outcomes.
