On February 11 the Committee on Local Government held a hearing on three bills: HB 26-22 (changes protest-petition thresholds for municipal lease-purchase agreements), HB 27-33 (requires elected officials to remain residents during their term), and HB 27-11 (updates dissolution procedure for cities of the third class). All three bills were moved favorably, advanced under emergency final action and placed on the House consent agenda.
