The Washington House Appropriations Committee held a public hearing on the proposed substitute House Bill 22-89, hearing a detailed budget briefing from budget coordinator Mary Monroe and testimony from scores of agency officials, local leaders, providers and advocates on funding priorities, including Medicaid rehab therapy, early learning (transition to kindergarten and LEA), wildfire response funding, and higher education funding shifts.
