The Coffee County Board of Commissioners met in a special called meeting on Sept. 12, 2025, and unanimously approved the Coffee County Board of Education millage (14.493 mills), the county millage (7.465 mills, including 0.500 for the Economic Development Authority), accepted a $199,308 low bid for renovations to the Old County Jail/Douglas Police Department, and authorized the chairman to sign amendments to the county health and retirement plans.
