The Tipton County Legislative Body met Jan. 12, 2026 in Covington and approved routine business including minutes and committee reports, elected multiple notaries public, approved a resolution delegating authority to the Covington Industrial Development Board to enter payments-in-lieu-of-taxes agreements, sworn in a new judicial commissioner, and announced two county events.
