Cheatham County Legislative Body held a regular meeting on Jan. 23, 2017. Commissioners approved multiple zoning requests, authorized a $25,000 jail study (amended to be funded from litigation), approved three months of funding for three additional school resource officers, and passed a county-sponsored canoe bill to be forwarded to the Tennessee Legislature.
