The Tift County Board of Commissioners held a workshop on Sept. 5, 2023 to review three rezoning petitions (two residential subdivisions and one commercial request), discuss placing several items on the Sept. 11 regular agenda including a road condemnation for paving, a SPLOST election resolution, jail generator upgrades funded by SPLOST VI, licenses and board appointments, and to note commendations for Hurricane Idalia response.
