Whitfield County Board of Commissioners held its regular business meeting on March 16, 2022. The board approved an amended animal tethering ordinance, multiple road and license actions, several appointments, ARPA funding allocations including a $42,000 reimbursement to the library, formation of an ARPA nonprofit review committee, and authorized a RAISE grant application; routine procurement and capital purchases were also approved.
