At its Nov. 17, 2025 meeting, the Kenai Peninsula Borough Planning Commission approved a building setback encroachment permit and two utility-easement vacations, heard a plat committee report, and held an extended discussion about why setback encroachments recur and whether the borough should pursue outreach or code changes.
