At its Oct. 21, 2025 meeting, the Simpson County Fiscal Court approved a first-reading budget amendment, accepted a $171,495 culvert bid, authorized an excavator purchase at state contract price, approved multiple AT&T road-disturbance permits, authorized transfers (including $195,407 to the jail fund), and heard reports from the sheriff and jail administration.
