The Skagway Health, Education & Welfare Committee on Aug. 12 reviewed draft selection criteria for a proposed community land trust (CLT) focused on roughly 16 Garden City lots, agreed on residency and a points-based selection approach, and heard a request from clinic leadership to repurpose three clinic-owned lots for provider housing while staff check a 2013 DEC contamination finding and the status of a voter bond tied to a senior center.
