At its Oct. 1 meeting, the Gratiot County Board of Commissioners certified the county apportionment report, approved several contracts and purchases (including a JAVS maintenance agreement and new golf carts for parks), moved an indigent-defense administrative position from part time to full time (100% grant-funded), approved an equalization services contract, and went into closed session for union negotiations.
