The Charlotte County Planning Commission on July 18, 2024 reviewed amendments and conditional use permit applications for large and small solar projects, held a public hearing on lot-size reductions, and made recommendations to the Board of Supervisors including approval of a 125‑MW Quarter Horse Solar amendment and denial of a 5‑MW Lavender Solar permit.
