Calhoun County Commission on Sept. 25, 2025 approved a balanced FY2026 budget, adopted multiple public-nuisance abatements and declarations affecting dozens of properties, awarded several contracts including a $2.15 million bridge project and GPS monitoring services for the sheriff, and made multiple board appointments.
