King County Regional Transit Committee convened Feb. 18, 2026. Chair Stephanie Fain opened the meeting, members introduced themselves, the committee approved minutes, heard Metro General Manager Michelle Allison report on 2025 accomplishments and 2026 service growth (including a 450,000-hour service increase and Super Bowl operations), selected a vice chair, and discussed the 2026 work plan (World Cup/FIFA preparations, SouthLink restructure, ORCA/tap-to-pay, safety task force implementation, fleet electrification, snow-route planning, and service gaps).
