Chair Borges called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m., invited a brief moment of reflection and asked Supervisor Wilson to lead the Pledge of Allegiance. The Chair asked staff (Natalie) to take roll; the board confirmed attendance of five supervisors.
The Del Norte County Board of Supervisors met in regular session to handle routine consent items, approve several agreements and personnel actions, receive an update on a federal earmark request for an emergency operations center, approve a $5,000 annual contribution to the Chamber of Commerce for the Fourth of July fireworks, and authorize a letter supporting proposed coastal act legislation on farmworker housing. The board heard multiple public comments and adjourned to March 24.
